Born in 1996, Sihan Ling is a Chinese artist Base in UK. His practice is rooted in the dialogues and translation between different cultures in the context of globalisation. In this nebula of concerns, he is keen on exploring viewers’ new forms of empirical knowledges deriving from such cultural exchange. The form of his works oscillates between installations, video essay, performance and dialogical art. He often reconstructs the cultural reference through altering the original formats of familiar object in poetic and absurd ways.
Graduated from Goldsmiths University, London (2021). He has showed his work in UK, China, Korea and France. His recent shows in UK was taking place at V.O Curation (2023),P A L F R E Y Gallery (2022) and Swiss Church in London (2021).
